Mason was born on the Lower East Side of Manhattan on July 10, 1978. He attended St. James Elementary School, Seward Park High School and New York University.
Mason had dreams and aspirations of becoming an NBA Basketball Player. His desire and passion for basketball led him to TJBA, which he played from 1985-1991. He then attended Seward Park H.S. and played all four years for the Varsity Basketball Team (1991-1995). Mason was the 2nd player to make it on the Varsity team as a Freshman in the school’s 80 year history.
After High School, Mason realized his passion for computers and decided to attend Engineering School. He worked as a computer technician for Jive records from 1996-2001. While being surrounded by so many creative individuals in the music industry, Mason was introduced to the modeling, acting and photography world. Mason appeared in various print ads for Tommy Hilfiger, Polo, Bear and Sean John. The field of acting captivated Mason because he was naturally proficient at it. He decided to study acting at HB Studios and realized that this was his passion and calling. He appeared in several productions, which include Sex and the City; Law and Order; All My Children; The Bold and the Beautiful; Curve your Enthusiasm.
Throughout Mason’s acting career, he also had an interest in hosting events and entertaining large crowds. At the beginning of 1998, he worked for various entertainment companies and hosted weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, sweet 16’s and corporate events. Mason was such a hot commodity that he took entertainment companies beyond their limits. His popularity and huge following within the industry led him to open up his own entertainment company called Sky Blue Entertainment in 2005.
To this day Mason continues to bring Sky Blue Entertainment to a higher level by making his clients’ childhood dreams become reality. He will take away all the stress that comes with organizing a fabulous event and make it the most enjoyable experience. In the midst of putting together extravagant events and entertaining clients, Mason is constantly working on acting projects and is presently working on his first movie script.
